Hey, I'm Ariel and I'm just swinging by to say... we care a ton! I wouldn't work here if I didn't.

Things are slow because Medium is a small startup with limited resources. As the person managing the Boost Nomination Pilot, I have to wait my turn for design & engineering resources, which are currently focused on the Medium Partner Program. We're doing the best we can with what we've got, but yeah: things are slower than I'd like, too.

As for the opacity, I'm here to answer questions! I make a point to reply to every question about the program that folks ask on my blog posts, so always feel free to ask.

(I know it's tempting to view Medium as a monolith, but it's actually just 80 humans over here humanning, trying to make something that works better so people can tell their stories. Ask away if you've got questions!)
