I see a stark difference between beta testers exploring the edges of a pilot program, and actual fraud. I've seen first hand what fraud looks like at Medium, and it's quite a different beast on a whole different scale than any of the issues we've had with the Boost Nomination Pilot. Either way, I'm grateful for the folks in our Trust & Safety team. I work closely with them, and they do phenomenal work keeping Medium safe from fraudsters.
