"Meta" articles (that is, articles on Medium about Medium) are unlikely to get Boosted. There are some exceptions -- for instance, an article about how you used a Medium List as a way to organize your dissertation sources could be an interesting look at a novel way of using Medium's tools -- but for the most part, meta is not eligible for Boost. That especially includes advice about how to make money on Medium. (That kind of content almost killed Medium a few years ago.)
