The story is not breaking any Medium rules. That said, it is what's considered "meta," which means it's not distributed outside of your network.

The larger issue is just that when it comes to writers wanting to understand Medium programs, I think that it's advisable for them to get that information directly from Medium. There's a LOT of misinformation out there.
