THIS! I was so confused reading this article because, as a single 48yo woman, I've never experienced weirdness with not drinking and dating, EVER. Folks generously curious and respectful, never weird about it. I think many of us by this age have dealt with friends or family in recovery (and seen how addiction can damage folks), so we take it with grace and understanding when folks don't drink.
